About the Role
The Sister Basilia Center is looking for a Social Worker to join our team. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week).
At the Sister Basilia Center, we support clients with intellectual disabilities and help them live meaningful, active, and fulfilling lives.
The Social Worker's tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Conducts intake of potential Sister Basilia Center clients;
Makes up the social assistance plan;
Supervision of the care plan;
Collaborates with the Ambulant Worker on meaningful day activities for our clients;
Collaborates with the Behavioral Scientist on client approach;
Executes administrative tasks and maintains a network of contacts.
This position is based on a scale FWG 55, with a gross monthly salary ranging from Cg. 4.995 to Cg. 7.024, depending on the relevant level of education and years of experience.
Requirements
The job requires:
Bachelor's degree in Social Work;
Relevant work experience in special education or in intellectual disability care, development of disorders and behavior problems;
A valid B driver’s license.
Knowledge of the English language. Dutch, Spanish and Papiamento are a plus.
