Despite all our efforts we are sad to report that one client and two of our colleagues have tested positive for covid-19. The client was admitted into SMMC where he is receiving the best of care. Directly involved clients, family and our teams have been informed, and CPS was immediately contacted. They have started source and contact tracing and we are following all their instructions and guidelines.
Everyone that was in direct contact with the client has been placed in quarantine and the infected employees are at home in isolation. We wish everyone a speedy recovery and will continue with all our strict measures to prevent new infections. With the current widespread community transmissions on our island we need everyone’s help to be successful.
