About the Role

The Paramedical Team is looking for a Speech Therapist. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week).

In this role, you will work autonomously while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team. Your work will support clients with intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and physical or mental developmental delays.

The Speech Therapist's tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Evaluate and diagnose clients’ speech, language, and communication needs;
Consult with specialists when necessary and advise on appropriate referrals;
Develops, coordinates, and implements individualized treatment plans in collaboration with relevant stakeholders;
Provides therapeutic interventions and conducts individual and group therapy sessions;
Monitors progress, adapts treatment plans as needed, and maintains accurate documentation;
Educates and supports clients and their families on therapeutic strategies and goals;
Collaborates effectively within a multidisciplinary team and provides guidance on treatment approaches.

This position is based on a scale FWG 55, with a gross monthly salary ranging from Cg. 4.995 to Cg. 7.024, depending on the relevant level of education and years of experience.

This position is open to both full-time and part-time candidates, offering flexibility to suit individual needs.

Requirements

The job requires:

Bachelor’s degree in Speech & Language Therapy and valid professional licensing;

Experience in assessing client needs and developing individualized treatment plans;

Strong skills in providing therapeutic interventions and conducting therapy sessions;

Proficiency in documenting and maintaining accurate client records;

Experience or strong affinity with clients with intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and developmental delays;

Affinity with sensor-motoric integration and/or neurological approach;

Excellent communication and collaboration skills;

Knowledge of the English language. Dutch, French, and Spanish are a plus.
