About the Role
The Facility Department is looking for a Kitchen Helper to join our team. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week).
The Kitchen Helper will provide nutritional care and cleaning services within our Kitchen and Nursing Home.
The Kitchen Helper's tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Prepares and serves cold breakfasts and suppers, portions hot meals, sets tables for clients, and manages diet regulation and menu requests;
Delivers and serves meals and drinks to clients, ensures each client receives their meal, and assists with eating and drinking;
Performs household work in the kitchen and on the units.
This position is based on a scale FWG 15, with a gross monthly salary ranging from Cg. 2.342 to Cg. 2.966, depending on the relevant level of education and years of experience.
Requirements
The job requires:
Practical experience and knowledge of food, dietary, and hygiene regulations;
Ability to work independently;
Strong interpersonal skills;
Proficiency in English (knowledge of Dutch, Spanish, and Papiamento is a plus).
