Daycare PG
The Psychogeriatric Daycare, which opened in September 2012, is a department of the Sint Martin’s Home within the White and Yellow Cross Care Foundation.
The Daycare PG caters to 20 clients and the care is covered via the AVBZ fund, which is administrated by the SZV.
Our Psychogeriatric Daycare provides a comprehensive therapeutic daycare program for clients with a psychogeriatric illness.
During the day, clients are offered recreational and therapeutic activities such as fitness (inside and outside), memory stimulation, board games, handicraft and much more. The clients
are divided in different groups, according to their abilities.

Follow up
Once our team receives the above mentioned documents, the social worker and the unit leader will conduct a home visit. An AVBZ-care request is then filled in and submitted to the AVBZ committee of SZV for approval. Once approval is received, family will be notified and given a start date with times. The family is responsible for arranging transportation to and from our St. John’s location.
